In Memory of Robert Arthur Braem (retired BC Hydro bus driver). Celebration of Life was held Thurs., Mar. 6, 1997, 2:00 pm, Delta Green Co-op, Bath Rd., Richmond, B.C. Bob was part of BC Hydro's large bus-driving family. Condolences to all.

Also in Memory of Bernard Joseph (Ben) Kelly (retired BCT driver - 29 yrs - b. Apr 24, 1921 d. Mar 14, 1997). Memorial service for family and friends was held at First Memorial Chapel, 602 Kingsway, Thurs., March 20, 1997, 2 pm. Private internment at a later date. Condolences extended.

Also in Memory of Willard Herbert Calbick (retired BCH operator - b. 1903 d. Apr 13, 1997). Memorial Service was held Sat., Apr 19, 1997, 11 am, Fraser Heights Funeral Home, 14835 Fraser Hwy., Surrey, BC. Condolences to family and friends.

Also in Memory of Robbie Robinson (ex-BCH/PSL/PCL - Skytrain - d. Apr 14/1997). A celebration of his life was held at his home in New Westminster, BC, Saturday, April 19th, 2pm to 8pm. Condolences to all.

Also in Memory of Claude Bullen (ex-BCE/BCH/PSL - b. Mar. 20, 1910 d. Feb. 8, 1999). Memorial Service was held at Mount Seymour United Church, 1200 Parkgate Ave., North Vancouver, BC, Saturday, Feb. 13th, 10:30 am. Condolences to all.

Also in Memory of Brad Wickham (ex-Greyhound/ISL/Black Velvet - b. 19__ d. Apr. 26, 1999). Memorial Service was held at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 1480 St. George St., White Rock, BC, May 5th, 1999. Condolences to all.

Also in memory of Ross Hodgkins (ex-Maverick Coach Lines driver - from Apr 20, 1991 - Nov 30, 1998) on Jun 19, 1999 from prostate cancer, at Lions Gate Palliative Care Unit, N. Vancr. Funeral Service was held June 23, 1999, at Christ The Redeemer Church, 595 Keith Rd., N. Vancr., BC. Condolences to all.

Also in Memory of Ken Ross (ex-BCH - b. Aug. 2, 1938 d. May. 16, 2000). Memorial Service was held at Kingsway Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 602 Kingsway., Vancouver, BC, Thursday, May 25th, 2000 at 3:00 pm. Condolences to all.

Also in memory of Clarence Stobbe (ex-Pacific Stage Lines driver on May 16, 2000 peacefully at Mission Memorial Hospital, Mission, BC. Memorial Service was held Friday, May 19, 2000, at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Ave., Mission, BC. Rev. Victor Stobbe officiated. Condolences to Fay and family and friends.

  • In Memory of David Paul Bond, a 47 year old chef, who passed away tragically on January 9th, 1997, a day after being struck by a wheel that had come loose from a transit bus, while waiting at a bus stop on Granville Street in Vancouver, B.C. All of us in the bus industry extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Bond.

  • Also In Memory of Robert Ian Ross, CM, OBC, BA, LLD, (b. Victoria 1918), owner of Butchart Gardens, who passed away on February 2nd, 1997. He managed the Gardens since 1939 and was often seen directing traffic as late as the summer of 1996. Many tour drivers knew Mr. Ross well over the years.

  • Also in Memory of Lorrie Jolin (NTA Canada tour guide - b. Nov. 23, 1953 d. June 24, 2000). Memorial Service was held at The Canadian Memorial United Church, 16th Ave. & Burrard St., Vancouver, BC, Tuesday, July 4th, 2000 at 7 pm. Condolences to all.
