or better
The site will have new information showing up periodically, hopefully giving the 3,000 transit, inter-city and charter bus drivers in British Columbia a central place to visit, to recall some memories and find out about their fellow bus drivers. Many in this industry work out of different locales over the course of their carreers and lose contact with former fellow workers. My wish is that this page will be an easy way to keep up to date.

NOTE: The Buzzer celebrated it's 80th birthday on June 2, 1996. See the May 31, 1996 issue (Vol. 81 No. 11) for further details.
In October of 1974, Ray Maxwell first appeared as Mr. Buzzer, mainly showing up at schools to teach children about the safe usage of the transit system. Other "Mr. Buzzers" were Georges Jaques, Bill Richards and John Timms.
