Heh, have any of you noticed yet that when I don't write much in this here diary, it usually means that I am going through a lot of weird stuff outside of cyberspace. (I hate using that word, I sound like a parent teaching their kids about the internet when they don't have clue themselves) Anyways, back to what I was talking about......Since the last entry I have stopped working for College Pro Painting. Two days later, started up again with the other crew painting in Richmond. Got my car repaired, been to Seattle, been to Harrison Hotsprings, camped in Langley. Became Crew-boss, painted a flower shop, drove a big yellow van.

Oops, gotta go to sleep. Up to late, need.......sleep........bye......

Friday 5/23/97

Well, I've been busy. Been painting for two weeks now. Basically I'm averaging 9-10 hours a day in the sun with a brush in my hand. I come home dirty and slimy, and tired. But I'm getting paid, so it's bearable. Krista on the other hand, has been working 12-13 hour days for thge last two weeks. Between her two jobs she can barely stand up anymore. Ain't reality a kick?

We won the GUS MACKER basketball tournament. I burnt my face so bad it peeled twice, plus I got kicked in the face, and my eye swelled up, cut my face in two places, and basically play like shit till the final, when I actually got my game back. We got a funky plaque, and each a ig Gus Macker trophy. I'm so proud........

It's not  my fault!!!!!! My car acident has been ruled in my favour! Thanks god, now I can get it fixed. $1000 work on my front end. Lots of body work and paint. Plus some minor engine fix-its. I love my car. I hate seing it like this.

I need to get paid. Payday isn't till next Friday. I have bills to pay. And I want to buy a few new CD's. Yup, it's back to being a CD buying maniac. Hey, I graduated from Lego maniac and moved on up to CD-buyer deluxe. That's muturity for ya.

Not much going on besides that. I'll try and update this thing this weekend. Bye....

Wednesday 5/7/97

Well, well, well........ain't life a bitch. Take a wild guess at how life has been treating me lately??? Let me digress for a moment.

First, on Tuesday of last week, the sun was shining, it was hot out, and I had spent the day playing basketball with Steve and Duff at Dolphin. Things slowed down there, so we came back to my place to play a little ball in the driveway. Fun day so far. Almost got a tan. After about 2 minutes of playing, Steve smashed his jaw into my scalp, leaving a huge cut in the side of my head. It bled al over my hands and down the side of my head. I got my Dad to drive me to the hospital, and we proceeded to wait there for 2 1/2 hours for a doctor to tell me he can't stitch up a wound caused by teeth. FUCK! Waste of time. And I had a headache for about 12 hours after that. The scar still hasn't healed.

Next, on Wednesday, I went to Aircare to get my car tested so I could renew my insurance for the next year. I was incredibly worried about it because I just had some work done to my car, and it still isn't running perfectly just yet. Hallejuya! It passed. I kissed my dashboard when the technician gave me the papers. So, in a great mood, I drove home. It was really wet out then, and the roads were very slippery. I was driving along Steveston highway in the left lane. Just after I passed 3 road, a woman pulled out of an apartment building on the right. Instead of coming out of the driveway and turning right, into the right hand lane, she decides to pull right out across two lanes and into mine, cutting me off. All I had time to do was slam the brakes on, and pray for my life. I skidded for about 10-12 feet and smash. Right into her tail end. She was driving a Volvo. I now hate Volvos. She had a little tiny dent in her rear bumper. I now need over $1000 worth of body work and painting done to my front end. The front nose cone will be replaced as well as the hood, the headlight mechanisms/motors, the right fender piece and some radiator parts too. Plus the whole thing needs to be painted. FUCK! And ICBC still hasn't decided on my claim yet.

Fun two days huh??? Well, on the Thursday, I decided not to leave the house. I tried not to do anything, because bad things always happen in threes. About 3pm that day though, I got a call from Dennis. He's the College Pro Painting Manager I've been talking to. I got the job officially. I'm employed!!! Yahoo! I've been out twice now going door-to-door trying to get business. We start painting on Monday or Tuesday. Dennis is a cool guy, and should be easy to work with. Right now I'm the only other painter on the crew besides him. One or two guys will be starting in June, but until then I am the Trainee and the Head Painter I guess. Dennis will be there painting some of the time, but he also will be out drumming up business and doing all his administrative stuff.

So how have all of your week's been going???? Better or worse than mine??
