the World: Japan
Welcome to this online activity. The purpose is to take you on a cyber tour of Japan via some informative internet sites. You'll get a taste of the wealth of information found in cyberspace. Just print out a copy of the fill in the blank quiz and you're ready to go. This activity should take one period to complete.
Find the answers to the clues by visiting the designated sites listed below. You don't have to go far to find the answers. Just make sure you pay attention to the instructions listed above each link. Have fun, follow the copyright rules and enjoy the sites.
First print off a copy of the fill in the blank quiz. Teachers can do this ahead of time and make enough copies for your students. A trial run is also recommended.
Tip #1: An ideal way to carry out this assignment is to pair up students side by side, each with a computer. Both computers should get to this page. While one of the computers stays on this page to read the instructions, the second computer can be used to navigate the sites and complete the handout.
Tip #2: If you have many students involved in this activity, have them begin at different starting points. This should decrease the chance of overloading a page with too many guests.

The Virtual Japanese Restaurant will complete your cyber journey through Japan. Hope you're up to snuff on your Japanese cuisine and etiquette cus you're gonna get quizzed as you move through this site. Start from the beginning and move through in order. You'll be finished in the "Main Dish 2" section. Along the way make sure questions 13 -17 are answered. Sayonara!
