May Wildfowers
These pictures were taken on May 28, 2000 at a wild natural meadows near the Telemark Cross Country Ski Club at Kelowna, B.C. These meadows are at a higher elevation than many of the wild meadows in the Okanagan so the blossoms are a few weeks behind most of the area.

Paintbrush and sage bush. Canon EOS 3 camera, Sigma 105 f/2.8 macro lens, Fuji Velvia film. The bright colours make this look like a burning bush when the wind blows.

Mystry flowers. These tiny flowers are about 1 cm long and I only noticed them when I was crawlling around on the ground taking pictures of other flowers.
