of Ultimate Lingo

One of the biggest complaints I hear from players (especially new players) is the slang that is bandied about on the field and at the Ulti parties. This a searchable database of slang used around the globe in the sport of Ultimate. Users can search for words and phrases or submit new ones for inclusion in the database. No-one will ever feel confused again. This dictionary is not intended as a teaching tool for the game itself or as a supplement to the rules of the game, but merely to assist players and interested people in understanding what is being said. Where this dictionary differs from the UPA rules, this dictionary is wrong. All throwing descriptions presuppose a non-sinister (right-handed) thrower. This dictionary does not include words that you may hear in songs (such as felching) that are not truly part of the game.
