SELANDS-SLEKTA traces the lineage of my grandmother, Anna Olsdotter, back to Søren Thornson Schive who was a Danish priest and died in 1582. My uncle John wrote the history which was published in 1941. My grandfather was Søren Seland and my father was  Olav Seland
