In Alberta the Moon was partially eclipsed when it rose under a clear sky on November 8, 2003 at 5:55 PM MST. The pictures of the total eclipse had an exposure of 2 seconds using Nikon Coolpix3100.
On October 27, 2004 there was another eclipse of the
moon. It rose full, but within an hour the shadow
of the earth could be seen. Here are a few of the pictures. Again
exposure time was 2 seconds using
Nikon CoolPix3100. Unfortunately the sky was not absolutely clear, and it shows
up in pictures.
