NOTES

This deck was in the finals of Flashpoint London, having won two
earlier games. It is a tight Dragon-Lotus deck - a popular
combination at the tournament. It is interesting for eschewing most
of the Dragon big-hitters (e.g. Ting Ting) in favour of the Lotus
"dragons", Tanbi Guiawu and Thing with 1000 Tongues. Richard has 5
Ting Tings but avoided using her in this tournament for fear of
Uniqueness auctions.

In the early game, Grenade Launchers and Explosives can be used with
foundation characters to seize or burn sites. In the middle game, the
Evil Twins and Tortured Memories can be used to turn opponents'
strengths against them. In the end-game, a typical winning play is to
attack with a Thing with a 1000 Tongues, well-fed to give it Toughness
and use a Flying Kick to sail over the opposition. This nearly won
the final but fell prey to another Tortured Memories. Perhaps
Festival Circles should replace the Proving Grounds?

The designer, Richard Martin, works at Just Games in central London -
the premier source of Shadowfist cards in the UK. This deck was
forged in the fire of their regular Wednesday evening sessions.
