GIBBS MARTIN

The Martin plug was invented by Joe Martin of Seattle Wash. in 1937. In 1940 Gibbs tool and Stamping Works aquired the Canadian rights to the plug and the GIBBS MARTIN was born. The plug was produced until 1949 and came in 3, 4 1/2, 5, 6, and 7 inch sizes.
TILLICUM TheTILLICUM plug was manufactured by Frumento Fishing Tackle Works of Victoria BC from 1946 until 1953. The plugs came in a number of different models and sizes from 3" to 7" commercial models. The plug in the picture above is the sport model and at the top of the page is a commecial in perch scale.
