Hi...My name is Lionel. I was born in St. Vincent, a Caribbean island associated with a smaller group of islands called the Grenadines. I now live in British Columbia, Canada.

I developed a love for photography a long time ago. Through photography I try to reflect my love for travel and nature. It also allows me to record the mundane and exotic.

Select for a larger image... Although it is often shrouded in clouds, La Soufriere (4,048 ft) dominates the northern end of a mountain chain in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The extinct volcano, for which the mountain is named, last erupted in 1979.
Select for a larger image... This hibiscus flower was found in St. Vincent's Botanical Gardens. There were about fifty or more different colours, along a path about three city blocks long.

Select for a larger image... The wood of the Western Red Cedar is quite resistant to decay. This stump is protected as a heritage site by a municipality in BC.
