OUR PHILOSOPHY
Years of scientific studies have demonstrated that no
one method of education works well for all
individuals. Different children learn better with
different methods. Your dog is the same.
Different environments, experiences, and attitudes and
mannerisms
of their owners and breeders all work together to shape
your dogs personality.
We will take the time to assess your dog and recommend
methods to teach the particular skills in a way that
draws out the best elements of your dog's personality.
Good training includes not only the precision of a dog's
performance, but the attitude displayed in working.
A well trained dog should be happy and animated in his
exercises, projecting nobility, self-confidence, and
sincere desire to please.
Programs
Dang Good
Dog! offers both private and group lessons in the
Calgary, Olds, Sundre, Didsbury, Carstairs, and Water
Valley, Alberta. For the dates and locations of
group lessons check the sidebar on the left.
Dang Good Dog! works with owner/trainers to teach their
dogs the specialized skills they require to work as
assistance dogs for persons with disabilities.
