The Green Tara practice is generally regarded in Tibetan Buddhism as an effective practice for the removal of obstacles. 

Nyung Nye, the fasting practice of the 1000 Arm Chenrezig will become a regular monthly practise.  Nyung Nye is a two days practice - first day, eat till noon and drink till mid-night then second day no food and drink.
