The Ice Times:

Friday, August 17th: PRACTICE 8:15 - 9:30pm

Saturday, August 18th: GAME # 1 6:15 - 7:15pm

Sunday, August 19th: GAME # 2 10:00 - 11:00am

The Retreat will be held at the Fireside Lodge (Whistler:Nordic Drive) and will be a mixture of room set ups, from a dorm style accommodation that sleeps 22, loft rooms that sleep 3-4 adults, and individual rooms that sleep 2 adults.

There is a large Rec room for relaxing and chatting by the fireplace, a Games Room (w. ping pong, fooseball, dart board), Large Washroom facilities (9 stalls, 9 showers), Sauna, Washer/Dryer, and a HUGE Kitchen fully stocked with fridges, microwaves, pots/pans, glasses, cutlery etc.....stocked to cook for 40!

Special Events

There will be a Meet n' Greet Wine and Cheese for all Ladies attending, on the Friday night after the first ice time. The function will be held at the Lodge that evening, after everyone gets back from the rink.

What it's all about

This is the 3rd year in a row for the Ladies' Ringette Weekend Retreat, hosted by

North West Vancouver's Bryan Brooking and Katy Mayrs. The event began with a

group of Lower Mainland Ladies in 1999 at Whistler. Then last year, open to BC Masters, the retreat moved to Penticton for some summer fun. This year once again we hope to rekindle some outdoorsy fun with Whistler's summer backdrop!

The Retreats are for the love of Ladies' ringette, bringing together the Masters of BC to play ringette and socialize with no competetive barriers. With all participants playing ringette (1 practice and 2 or 3 games) for a weekend in the Summer, in preparation for the coming season.
