1. Reflexology is a gentle compression technique used on the hands and feet. It is based on the principle that there are specific reflexes in the hands and feet that relate to all the organs and all parts of the body. When this technique is applied on the hands or feet, it improves circulation, elimination, relaxation and returns the body to its natural rhythm. |

| 2. Reflexology is a type of treatment in which pressure is applied to specific small areas of the skin, mainly the hands and feet. It is a non invasive, natural therapy that induces a deeply relaxed state, which alleviates tension, mild anxiety, and depression from everyday living. It triggers the body's own inner healing process and as a result relieves naturally many medical conditions over a period of time to achieve positive and lasting health benefits. | ||
| 3. It just makes you feel great and your feet happy! :) | ||

Reflexology should not be confused with foot massage. Massage rubs the skin to work on the muscles. Reflexology works on points below the skin by gentle compression. Massage also uses oils and lotions. However, in Reflexology, using oils and lotions will hinder the ability of the Reflexologist to work since the fingers will slide off those specific points. Reflexology is best done with the feet in its natural state. When the feet are freshly bathed it is like communicating to a sedated person! (Imagine trying to get to know someone that way!) In the same way it interferes with sensing problems in the foot. Our fingers are better at sensing than any tools and it also vital in making the client feel relaxed. |
