Planes fascinated me from a very early age but when I
actually got to fly my first flight was when I flew
to Canada in Super Constellation in 1959. These were
the days when they still were a few years away from
having full time commercial jets running. The first picture
shown is a Royal Dutch Airline Constellation.
The second one is a TCA Super Connie G which I flew from London
to Montreal which shows the airline and the type of plane that
I flew in.TCA changed its name to Air Canada in the early sixties.
The third picture is a Vickers Viscount which I flew in from
Montreal to Toronto.
Next is the Bristol Britannia which was also referred to as
"The Whispering Giant" Alas I was never able to have a flight
in one of them to see if that was true.
