Steve was up and out early for work, so I went downtown for a disappointingly greasy breakfast and didn't get on the road until almost 10:30 am. But with flat country and a good tailwind I made great time. The morning was a pleasant ride through farmland in & out of sight of the Fraser River. There was only one real hill, just before the turnoff to Harrison Hot Springs, but with the benefit of a piped mountain spring right at the summit. Lunch in Agassiz, and then more tailwinds all the way to Hope.
I ended up in a motel, since the cost (C$40) seemed reasonable compared to a campground (C$16).
